Health Benefits of Dates.

Health Benefits of Dates.

These tiny seeds are packed with nutrients. Culbertson lists six health benefits of dates:
1. Improve your physical health.
Research shows that the health benefits of fiber go beyond relieving stomach pain. Consuming additional fiber from fruits and vegetables, such as dates, can also help:
• Increase heart health.
• Maintain stable blood sugar levels.
• Prevent growth and weight gain.
• Reduce the risk of colon cancer, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.
2. Help prevent chronic diseases.
Plant components that function as natural antioxidants are abundant in dates. Your body’s cells are raided by free radicals, which take electrons from healthy cells so they can regenerate. Cell damage and an elevated risk of infectious illnesses are two consequences of this theft.
• Autoimmune diseases.
• Cancer.
• Infection in the bloodstream.
• Star. “Since antibodies compete with antioxidants, they help suppress the inflammatory response,” explains Culbertson. Dates have a wide range of antioxidant properties, including:
• Carrots.
• Hair follicles.
• Price.
• Dissolved acids.
• Polyphenols.
3. Promotes oral and dental health.
Numerous studies have shown a link between dates and improved immune system function due to their anti-inflammatory properties. Antioxidants shield the skin and other parts of the body from inflammation. Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease (ALS), also referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease, have all been associated with inflammation in the brain.
“Experimental studies have shown that eating dates has benefits such as improved memory, faster learning, and reduced anxiety,” says Culbertson. Additionally, dates have been connected to lowering the body’s protein levels. Plaques composed of these proteins have been linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Culbertson cautioned that while these results are promising, they need to be tested first to ensure their beneficial effects.
4. It may help with natural childbirth.
My little one was due to miscarry a week ago, and now doctors are talking about a natural birth—unless you find a way to manage it on your own. “Studies have shown that eating dates can increase fertility,” says Culbertson. How often you should eat them is still unclear, but one study found that there was a difference when people ate them every day in the last month of pregnancy.
What does the data mean for this complex system?. Date chemicals appear to trigger oxytocin receptors, which are normally stimulated by the hormone oxytocin. The presence of oxytocin is essential for an effective birth. Since dates are a good source of healthy carbohydrates and are high in sugar, eating them helps the body maintain enough energy to complete tasks.
5. Gives the skin a younger appearance.

In a small study, researchers created an extract containing 5% persimmon extract. Middle-aged women were asked to use the eye cream twice daily for five weeks. “Persimmon seed extract reduced the size and severity of scars,” says Culbertson. “Although the study only included 10 women, the results were clinically promising and encouraging.”

Are you trying to eat less? Make a thick paste by blending dates and water in a blender. If you want to substitute it for sugar, use it in a 1:1 ratio; for example, if a recipe asks for one cup of sugar, use one cup of “You don’t lose any nutrients, but you still get antioxidants and fiber,” says Culbertson. Dates are classified as elements that
